ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Our unique and unparalleled professional scooter coaching program caters to scooter riders at all levels, from young beginners keen to learn their first tricks, to intermediate riders looking to progress, right through to experienced riders looking to hone their craft.
Kai Saunders, Head Coach and our dedicated team of highly experienced Professional Scooter Coaches work with each individual to assess their goals and develop a coaching approach to ensure they progress and succeed.
Currently, we offer our Coaching at Waterloo, Sydney Park and Mona Vale Skatepark in Sydney, on weekends, school holiday and afterschool sessions, all backed by a robust, planned and tested developmental coaching approach.
WHAT TO EXPECT ?
During small group coaching workshops, we provide professional scooter coaching and progression development for riders wanting to improve their skills and build confidence. We engage and empower riders to develop their passion and skills in scootering.
Each session follows set format, designed to develop each rider, every session towards their goals.
An example of our Session Format is outlined below.
· Meet and greet, gear up (helmets and pads) discuss overview of the session, rundown of Skatepark Etiquette and safety procedures
· Goal Setting - of the Coaching program and individual session goals
· Individual assessment of current skill level by our professional coach
· Professional Progression Coaching focusing on the tricks /skills the rider wants to develop with supportive constructive feedback, tips and encouragement
· Wrap-up and review - review what has been learnt and agree a plan for practice in between sessions.
*Each participant is provided with a Coaching Journal to log their goals, progress and feedback which is reviewed and signed by the coach at the completion of each session
*Each rider has the opportunity to develop through our assessment levels to receive a certificate of attainment once a new level of skill is achieved.
- During every session each rider will be filmed by the coach so they can review their progress via video post session.

ABOUT YOUR COACH KAI SAUNDERS
Kai Saunders @saundezy really needs no introduction as he is one of the most globally recognised Professional Scooter riders in the world. Kai started scooter riding when he was 11 years old (2011) and I fell in love with it instantly. Kia is one of the rare Scooter professionals that has crafted a highly successful career in scootering, dedicating full time focus to his craft. His first sponsor as a professional rider early on was SkaterHQ which then led to Phoenix Pro Scooters, and then becoming a Pro rider for Native scooters a role he held for x years. He has now moved to an international team, being sponsored by Drone Scooters out of the UK, along with being the head Pro rider on the AtlasCo.Online Team.
Throughout the last 10 years Kai has competed at global scooter events, travelled the world, filmed some of the very best scootering video parts and much more. He is highly successful on social media having amassed an incredible following on Instagram and YouTube.
A consistent through Kai’s scootering journey is that he has always focused on taking his craft to the next level which has led him to develop the passion for teaching, coaching and mentoring to help shaping the younger generation of scooter riders, showing them what the sport of scootering is all about. Kia has been involved in Coaching for 3 years now and we are excited to co-launch this new coaching offering in collaboration with Kai.
